Description:
Herbs up to 80 cm with rather thin rhizome. Stems few to many-leaved; leaves with short ligule. Inflorescence on separate leafless shoots, peduncle very short; flowers single or in few-flowered cincinni, subtended by thin closely spaced bracts; bracteole absent; flowers white with a violet to white labellum; calm tubular; corolla tube long; lateral staminodes rather narrow, narrowly elliptic; as long as or longer than petals; labellum obovate, 2-lobed; filament short, anther with a short rounded crest; ovary incompletely 3-locular. Geographical Distribution:
Found on the Malay Peninsula and in south Thailand.
Taxonomic Diversity:
Comprises two species.
