Description:
     The genus Mantisia has been submerged into the genus Globba, Section Mantisia, per Kyle J. Williams, et al., "The Phylogeny, Evolution, and Classification of the Genus Globba and Tribe Globbeae (Zingiberaceae): Appendages Do Matter," American Journal of Botany 91(1): 100-114, 2004.

Geographical Distribution:
     Found in NE India to N Myanmar.

Taxonomic Diversity:
     The four species of the former Mantisia genus have been submerged into Globba.

Mantisia saltatoria Sims = Globba radicalis Roxb.
