Description:
Rosulate herbs. Inflorescence a ± richly branched synflorescence, florescences narrowly spiciform, spathes persistent. Florescence component of 1-several 1-flowered cymules; cymule subbrachyblastic, with or without interphyll, bracteoles absent. Corolla tube ± equaling the lobes, or somewhat shorter; outer staminodes 2, petaloid; cucullate staminode with a small, simple appendage; ovary with 3 fertile locules. Fruit and seed unknown. Geographical Distribution:
Endemic to the Philippines.
