Research Interests
My research career is dedicated to field and laboratory research to understand microbial interactions and biodiversity of dinoflagellate algae in tropical, marine, shallow water, mangrove and coral reef ecosystems, and to develop a premier U.S. Dinoflagellate Collection for research and teaching based on modern information technology.
